King & Bartlett
Fish and Game Club is located in Maine’s famous Dead River Wilderness
Region just 3 ½ hours from Portland or 5 ½ hours from
Boston. From the Maine Turnpike turn off Exit 75 (formerly exit 12) in Auburn onto Route
4 North through Auburn, Turner, Livermore falls, Jay and Farmington.
You will go through “downtown” Farmington, continuing on
Route 4 until you see a right hand turn for Route 27 North towards
Kingfield. Stay on Route 27 through the towns of Kingfield, Carrabassett
Valley (home of Sugarloaf Ski Area), Stratton, and then the town of
Eustis.
There is a Texaco Station (Pines Market) on your right in Eustis. Go
3.5 miles more on Route 27 to a dirt road on the right. (King & Bartlett sign on far side of road, high in a tree.) Take this gravel road 4.7
miles to our gatehouse. Stop and give your name to the gatekeeper.
Follow signs another 9 miles into camp. REMEMBER gatehouse closes between
5 and 6 P.M. daily. You must let us know if you will arrive late!
We
are 2 ¾ hours from Auburn, 1½ hours from Farmington
and about 30 minutes from Pines Market in Eustis.

The Portland Jetport and
Bangor International Airport are 3 ½ hours
from camp. If leasing a vehicle we recommend something with a
bit more clearance, i.e. SUV or Pickup.
Our dock will accommodate floatplanes and a helicopter pad is available.
We can provide you with contacts for fly-in arrangements from Portland, Bangor, or Rangeley, Maine or Berlin, New Hampshire.
